IV sedation has become a game changer when it comes to complex dental treatments.
An experienced, board certified anesthesiologist safely administers a combination of medications that are selected based on your individual needs to establish a state of deep relaxation.
It is easy to have multiple procedures without being overwhelmed with IV sedation.
During your procedure we give you medication through the IV to help decrease pain, inflammation, and nausea for approximately four or more hours after you leave the office. Our anesthesiologist will stay with the patient before, during, and after the procedure, to monitor all the patient’s vital signs.
Upon waking from your relaxed dream-like state you will have no recollection of your dental procedure and minimal to no discomfort. Before you go home, you will be provided with written discharge instructions from your nurse anesthesiologist.
